Seattle is a big place, so I'm glad they're asking the community, it would be near impossible to see all the pavement in Seattle and find out what's still got some miles left and what is in need of the yank-out and rebuild. I wish Portland would do the same thing, nobody knows better than I do because I drive it every day that the stretch of road between here and there is a mess. I can't imagine it being a bad idea...it isn't like he asked Seattle citizens to volunteer to work in the office or something. (: Yes, and no.
