Apparently my problems with Gmail availability really aren’t that bad when compared with the folks who use Yahoo Mail whose accounts were broken and bouncing mail for three days.
If companies expect to succeed with hosted services, a three-day downtime is downright unacceptable. Unfortunately with the service being free for consumers and ad-driven, I doubt it’s much more than a small blip on Yahoo’s radar.
