FeedBurner Buys Blogbeat

FeedBurner has purchased Blogbeat. Blogbeat is a web stats package, and Feedburner is going to incorporate the Blogbeat features into their standard (free) stats system.

The FAQ about the acquisition has some interesting details, among them the fact that anyone who ever purchased Blogbeat will get a refund now that the service is free.

I’m a very happy user of Mint, but I also have very little software loyalty. I know I’ll check out the new features once FeedBurner gets them integrated (estimated for Q4 2006).
