WordPress URLs, Dates, Usability, and SEO

Quite a few SEO folks will tell you not to bother putting the date into your WordPress URL schema. I like having the date there… why? Because when I’m a user, searching the web, and I have a list of search results, I can quickly tell when a posting was made based on the URL, without having the burden of clicking through to the website, only to find out the information was out of date or no longer relevant.
