Over at the No Treason blog, some thoughts are floated about the motives of the TSA. Two key points, both of which hinge on buying into the theory that liquids are dangerous and might be bombs, so we can’t have them on planes:
- If they’re potentially dangerous when mixed, does it make a lot of sense to take them and dump them (all mixed together) into garbage cans?
- If they’re potentially dangerous, why are we giving them to the homeless?
It makes you wonder if the TSA is out to kill the homeless, or perhaps the whole liquid ban is just assinine…
