Technorati: I Should Never See This

September 7, 2006

Earlier I did a Technorati search and it gave me the generic “unknown error, try again” message 5 times before it completed successfully. Just now, a Technorati search returned this message:

We couldn’t complete your search because we’re experiencing a high volume of requests right now. Please try again in a minute or two. We’re working hard to make our search results better. Thanks for your patience.

Not cool. A search site shouldn’t ever return that as a message to their customers. Google has never told me they’re too busy.
