Another New Field for Me on the Web

Yesterday I pointed to a personal finance blog and noted that was one area where I really wasn’t plugged-in. Today it came to my attention that there’s another entire business that I really hadn’t even considered was online: the self storage business.

Of course individual storage companies have websites, but at least one company has created a site which allows one to easily find storage and moving resources across a wide variety of locations. The Self Storage Directory - Moving.bz - lets folks search for storage by location or find a variety of moving services. The idea reminds me of the aggregated travel sites… just like Expedia or Travelocity makes it easy to quickly find travel information, the directory at moving.bz similarly provides an easy-to-use, quick overview of options for someone looking for storage or moving services.
