Whenever there’s any sort of democratic sex scandal, especially one involving homosexuality, if Republicans even think to insinuate that being gay is related to being deviant there is a huge outry about homophobia and the persecution of gays.
Apparently when the tables are turned, and it’s a Republican involved in a homosexual sex scandal, the idea of creating a list of gay Republican staffers for a witch hunt is an okay thing to do.
