Several years ago, the Tickle Me Elmo craze drove people to do ridiculous things to obtain one of the sought-after talking plush toys. It’s back. There’s a new one, called TMX Elmo. Like the original, it appears the marketing is driven around supply and demand, with low supply and high demand.
The site I liked has a bunch of information about the doll, including the limited press previews and distribution. In addition, it’s interesting that folks seem quite interested in the packaging as well as the toy itself. Will our 2-year old daughter want one this Christmas? Probably. Will she get one? We’ll see…
