Cantwell Represents Clueless Voters

In today’s Columbian there’s an article about Maria Cantwell’s re-election to the Senate, with the theory that voters in Washington are sending a message about Iraq, and they’re using her re-election to deliver that message.

Huh?  As this article from earlier in the year notes, Cantwell supported the war from the beginning, and continues to not be part of the anti-war get-out-of-Iraq crowd.

It’s a shame that the voters of my state are so uneducated that they think voting (D) means voting against Iraq…
