I’ve started playing around with Helipad, which is an ajaxy web 2.0-ish online notepad application. You create free form text notes and can access them from anywhere. It’s a really simple concept and seems to be executed well. Once you’ve created your document or note, you can share it which creates a unique URL available for the public.
Will I use this long term? I’m not sure. It’s a candidate to replace Google Notebook, which I primarily use to store clippings or things to blog. They have a plugin interface, which hasn’t yet drawn many developers, although the wordcount plugin is a nice one.
Keep an eye on Helipad.
