Megaglobe - New Contextual Advertising Provider
Today I learned of a new search engine and advertising provider that’s in the process of starting up. Dubbed Megaglobe - International Search Engine, they’ll be offering up contextual advertising (similar to AdSense) for webmasters to embed on third-party websites.![]()
Like Google, their core product will be a search engine. And like Google, the relevance of their search results will be the key as to whether or not things take off. In reading a press release, they claim they’re going to offer a high payout to webmasters based on the advertising revenue. Assuming they gather a wide enough advertiser base to let them serve appropriate and relevant advertising, even for niche topics, they can probably gain some ground in this market if they pay well. On the other hand, it’ll probably take them a while to build up several relevant ads that could run on Dogcaught.com and unless they can serve something relevant, I’ll stick with AdSense.
