Tag Clouds and Search Engine Rankings
This morning I had a thought: how do tag clouds affect search engine rankings? This blog is a prime example… at the top of the index, category, and archive pages is a tag cloud. It contains terms which may or may not have anything to do with the content that’s on the page at the moment.
Does the tag cloud potentially lower the accuracy of the search ranking? Is it seen as duplicated content?
