Why oh why do Americans continue to perpetuate the image of Canada being some sort of arctic snow-covered wasteland? I don’t know. But it certainly doesn’t help things when folks in a blog representing Vancouver (BC, eh?) start talking about avalanche safety for the everyday citizen.
