Outlawing Funeral Protests: Not Quite Right

I see that Washington is joining all the other states in passing laws to make any sort of protest held at a funeral or around a funeral procession illegal.

While I agree that protests at a funeral are a horrible thing, I really don’t think that a law that abridges freedoms to address the acts of one tiny group of people is the solution.
