Election 2008: Where are the Candidate Blogs?
Tony Bloomberg has an interesting post from yesterday asking Is It A Conversation If You Don’t Talk - he takes a look at the presidential candidates and their websites. For the 2008 election it’s supposedly going to involve social media, with Barack Obama even having his own social network on his site. Bloomberg notes that none of the Republican candidates are using social media, then specifically looks at the blogs of the democrats.
Only one, Edwards, has candidate-authored blog posts. None have the candidate involved in any sort of ongoing conversation or discussion in the comments.
Apparently the 2008 election involving blogs must only mean third-party observers…
