On March 16th, I used the contact form on circuitcity.com to ask a question about a rebate offer for one of the items on their website. This was a pre-sale question about the terms of the rebate.
You’d think a company would want to answer questions from customers who want to give them money, right?
Today at 7:02 AM I received a response from “A. Todd” in their customer service department who didn’t answer my question, but rather told me to call a phone number where “They’ll place your order and your merchandise will soon be on its way.”
Wow. Over a month to get a response, and they didn’t even answer the question. You’d think they’d be more service-oriented especially in markets where Best Buy is kicking their ass.

To Circuit City Overpaid Senior Executives:
Several of you are getting over $35 Million /per year in compensation. You have laid off workers tht are making over $15/hr stating that they are overpaid. If you believe in competiton you should reduce your salary to $ 600,000 per year like many Japanese and European CEO’s do, in fact I think we should start outsourcing your jobs. You poor decisions and excessive salaries are the major contributing factors to your financial woes.
