Palm Sync w/ Outlook Broken

This morning I tried to sync my Palm (Tungsten E2) with Outlook and instead of my normal life-management happiness I received a HotSync Error:

The currently installed Outlook version is not supported. Outlook 98, 2000, and XP(2002) are supported.

Well isn’t that special. I’m running Outlook 2003 and it’s been happily synchronizing for over a month.

After a bunch of Googling and wandering through the Palm support forums, I went out on a limb and installed the update designed for Outlok 2007.  Everything is now happy.

    I am from Costa Rica and had problems syncronizing my Treo and Lifedrive with Outlook 2007 (I also have windows Xp). I downloaded the update you recommend and the sincronization worked just fine. Thanks a lot for your page. Vinicio
