In case folks were wondering, yes, a couple weeks ago I chose to leave Metroblogging Portland. It was an interesting group of authors to work with, but I had become increasingly frustrated with some of the directions things were headed and decided it wasn’t worth the amount of stress it was causing me in exchange for the pay I was receiving ($0).
That said, I still think it’s a good read with some good authors. You’ll still find me over there in the comments. But (at least in the near future) if you want my local thoughts… they’ll be right here.
