Portland Lunch 2.0: Tasty
Today was the first Portland Lunch 2.0 event, a lunchtime gathering for a group of mostly-techie Portlanders to enjoy some good food and talk with others from the community. The idea is that the event will rotate around with different companies sponsoring the lunch in their space. The host for today’s event was AboutUs.org, a wiki-based company providing an editable information repository about the web. There’s some smart people working there, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say the highlight of my lunch was having about 10 minutes of Ward Cunningham’s undivided attention to chat about agile development methodologies.
Thanks to Jake Kuramoto for coordinating this and the AboutUs folks for hosting… I look forward to the next event.
I shot a bunch of photos - see them on Flickr.
