Lunch 2.0 Portland, the Vidoop Version

May 29, 2008

I had lunch today at Vidoop along with around 100 of my closest friends. This was the third Lunch 2.0 event in Portland, attracting a larger crowd than the previous iterations. I also noticed that the crowd seems to have expanded. From my standpoint, what started out as a mostly techie crowd now seems to include a lot of marketing folks as well as some of the general Portland Twitterati. I’m not sure that the crowd shift is necessarily good or bad, but it changes the dynamic of the group and the interactions a bit. At any rate, the food (from Ford’s on 5th) was great, I got to chat with a bunch of interesting people (“Hey, aren’t you the guy from Vancouver with the camera?”), and snap a few photos:

Head over to my Portland Lunch 2.0 Flickr Set where I’ve added yesterday’s photos. Thanks to Jake Kuramoto and the Vidoop guys for coordinating the event.

The quote by me, of course. Oddly enough, my openid wouldn’t work here.
